Hydrostatic Testing

Mobile Hydro units with capabilities do hydro plain end or threaded material.  Hydrostatic testing is a critical pressure test used to verify the strength and leak-tightness of casing, tubing, and pup joints manufactured under the API 5CT/5L specifications.

Visual Thread Inspections

Visual Thread Inspection (VTI) is a non-destructive examination performed on threaded connections (such as API or premium threads) on casing and tubing to verify the quality, cleanliness, and conformance of the threads before use or shipment.

Drift Testing

Drift testing is a physical dimensional check required by API 5CT to ensure that casing and tubing have adequate internal clearance (ID) along their entire length — ensuring tools can pass through downhole without obstruction.

Gag Straightening

Gag straightening is a mechanical process used to correct the straightness of steel pipe — including casing and tubing — after hot rolling or forming, to meet API 5CT/5L straightness tolerances.

Ultrasonic Thickness Verifications

Ultrasonic Thickness Verification is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to measure the wall thickness of casing or tubing with high precision.

Magnetic Flux Leakage

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) is a proven inspection method used to detect corrosion, wall loss, and defects in OCTG such as casing and tubing. By identifying flaws through magnetic field changes, MFL helps ensure the integrity and reliability of your downhole equipment—quickly and without damaging the material.

Hardness Testing (HBW, HRC, HRB, HV)

Hardness testing is a non-destructive mechanical test used to measure a material's resistance to deformation, and is used in API 5CT to help verify:

  • Material strength and heat treatment quality
  • Proper grade identification (e.g., J55 vs. N80 vs. P110)
  • Detection of soft spots or over-hardening
  • Compliance with customer or supplemental specs

OD/ID Sandblasting

Sandblasting (also called abrasive blasting) uses compressed air to propel abrasive material (e.g., sand, steel grit, or garnet) at high speed to the outer surface of the pipe, removing:

  • Mill scale
  • Rust
  • Oils and grease
  • Surface contaminants

OD/ID Saltwater Contamination Treatment

Saltwater contamination treatment is a cleaning and corrosion control process applied to the outer (OD) and inner (ID) surfaces of casing and tubing that have been exposed to saltwater, typically during offshore drilling, marine transport, or storage near coastal environments.

OD/ID Coatings

We offer both oil-based and water-based rust preventives/coatings for OD and ID pipe protection. Oil-based products provide excellent long-term corrosion resistance, especially in marine or offshore environments. Water-based options offer faster drying and are more environmentally friendly, suitable for projects requiring quicker turnaround or eco-conscious solutions.

Technical Services

Third Party Monitoring

Third Party Monitoring provides independent verification of product quality and process compliance, boosting customer confidence. It helps catch issues early to avoid costly fixes, ensures traceability of test results, and supports certification and regulatory approvals.

Claims

We assist in crafting clear, accurate claims that highlight the key benefits and features of your product or service. Our process ensures claims are supported by factual data, test results, or certifications to maintain credibility. We also validate claims against industry standards and regulations, minimizing risk of misrepresentation and enhancing trust with customers and regulators.

Defect Analysis

In this service, we provide comprehensive defect analysis for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), identifying and evaluating flaws that may arise from manufacturing, handling, corrosion, or mechanical damage. Using advanced inspection techniques.

Audits

We conduct thorough audits at manufacturing and service facilities to ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Our expert auditors identify gaps, recommend improvements, and help implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality processes and products. By partnering with us for audits, companies can confidently demonstrate their commitment to excellence and compliance, reducing risks and enhancing their reputation.
